Wander in Casa de Campo

Madrid is surrounded by beautiful hikes, but this one kept it simple: a tour of the old royal hunting grounds in Casa de Campo, having some great chats with like-minded gay guys along the way.

The brief was water, snacks, comfortable shoes and (hopefully) suncream. It ran from 5pm to 8pm on a Sunday in October 2025, in English and Spanish, and it was free.

The group walked the tree-lined paths and stopped on a bridge in the park for a photo with the Madrid skyline behind. Later everyone sat down together at a long table under the trees, and there were drinks at an outdoor café table.

It was part of the Madrid group, and the wander came back in March 2026, this time with sunset drinks at the end.
