Afterwork drinks and chats

NSGW hosted a friendly meet-up to meet like-minded guys, have some great chats, make some new connections… and be in bed at a reasonable hour (separately).

It ran from 8pm to 10pm on a Tuesday at the end of September 2025, near Charing Cross. It was free, alcohol and sober-friendly, and mostly in English.

Chris filmed a short video at Retro Bar for what he called "our first free event in London". "Finally, I have a microphone. I'm born for it," he said. "We have a playlist, fairy lights are on."

Then he explained what the night was for: a place "where you can come as a gay guy and meet people in a low-pressure environment. You might meet friends, you might just have a great time, you might meet the love of your life. This is what we do."

The fairy-lit room filled up through the evening, there was a round of cheers for the camera, and the night wound down with a big group selfie.

The next London event was Christmas drinks at The Ministry in December.
