NSGW First Bday Picnic

NSGW turned one in August 2026, and celebrated a year of making quality connections with a picnic in Green Park, on a Sunday afternoon from 2pm to 5pm.

Chris wrote this in the invitation:

"The best part of running this has been the guys who have joined us. I'm proud that this group has attracted warm, friendly, open-minded people who make an effort to get to know others, and let others get to know them."

"People have made friends (even to become best men at weddings), dates have been organised, business partnerships, and loads of fun exploring places new and familiar."

It was BYOB, with NSGW providing some snacks, and everyone was asked to bring blankets. There was a backup plan if the weather turned, but the photos show the full group gathered on the grass, packed in close for a group photo on the lawn.

Tickets were £10 solo, or £7.50 each to bring a buddy. Afterwards a recap went out thanking everyone who came.

Seven weeks later, year one was officially over, and NSGW: Part Two launched at The Ministry in Borough.
