Goslings London Badminton Club
The old one: formed in 1976 as a group of gay swimmers at the Oasis pool in High Holborn, badminton only since April 2012, and celebrating its fiftieth year in 2026. Five sessions a week across north, south, west and central London, graded on the club's own scale from C minus to A, every one booked in advance on Spond.

What it costs
- £30 a year Annual membership to 30 September 2027Includes the Badminton England Community Member membership needed before you can play. Non-members can play a maximum of three sessions before joining. The price is inside the Spond form, not on the site.
Never done it before
Thursday at Talacre or Saturday at South Bank University Academy, both all levels. Non-members get three sessions before they have to join. Cancel on Spond at least 24 hours ahead and the paid slot carries to another session within two months.
