Bath 2025
Bath, UK · October 2025
Fifteen guys in Bath: a tour, darts and crazy golf, the Roman Baths and a Sunday roast.
The plan
"After the success of our first weekend in Oxford, we continue with a full weekend in Bath." That was how Chris opened the booking page: Saturday and Sunday, 4 and 5 October, with an optional Friday evening. History, games, exploring, good food and lots of social time. Tickets closed and a waitlist opened. Fifteen guys came. Paul W had booked it straight after Oxford; Tyler had found it on TikTok.
Friday
The early arrivals went to a piano bar on the Friday evening. It rained. In Chris's words the next morning: "We had our Friday night, it was so good, we even saw a bit of the rugby in the rain."
Saturday
Saturday began with coffee and breakfast together, then a tour of Bath, along the canal towpath and up to the Royal Crescent. Chris has his own review of his guiding: "I spoke about columns at length because I'm like so interesting."
The afternoon was Boom Battle Bar: competitive darts, arcade games and crazy golf. The plan for the evening, as Chris put it that morning, was pres at the pub before dinner, "and then see where the night takes us." Dinner was by candlelight.
On a podcast a few months later, Chris described the Saturday like this.
"What's so great is that mid-Saturday they just started having a great time within themselves and making friends."

Sunday
Sunday started early for anyone who wanted it, with games in the park, dodgeball included. After brunch, the group went to the Roman Baths, walked by the river, and finished with a roast dinner.
Chris's video of the weekend carried one line on screen.
"Imagine going on a gay weekend with strangers and going away feeling great about yourself."
